Waterform have recently completed an ultraBiox™ tank-based, high rate wastewater treatment plant for a global winemaking and hospitality company.

The ultraBiox™ wastewater treatment plant is a state-of-the-art facility incorporating a range of advanced treatment processes including the innovative ultraBiox™ hybrid design with a biofilm reactor plus sequencing reactor process to ensure that the wastewater is consistently cleaned to the required standards, before being discharged into the environment or recycled.

In addition to its impressive technical capabilities, the ultraBiox™ wastewater treatment plant is also an example of Waterform Technologies' commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The facility was designed with a focus on minimizing energy consumption and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, while also ensuring that the treated wastewater meets all relevant environmental standards.

Treated wastewater is further purified via an ultraReuse™ PrismSi4 filtration and UV Disinfection plant, to allow the purified wastewater to be reused for vine irrigation.

The facility is designed to accept seasonal wastewater inflow via OxyStar aerated holding lagoons, while the ultraBiox™ WWTP operates at a steady rate to ensure compliant discharge at all times. The Fuchs OxyStar surface aspirators have been utilised by Waterform for many years to successfully manage lagoon wastewater due to their superior oxygen transfer and homogenous mixing capabilities.

Overall, the wastewater treatment plant is an impressive example of Waterform Technologies' capabilities in designing, building, and operating advanced wastewater treatment facilities.

We are grateful to have worked on this project and to be playing a key role in helping our client to meet its holistic wastewater treatment needs in a sustainable and responsible way.

This plant is currently being operated through our FlowCare Operate & Maintain division.
